Homework
Homework helps students refine and strengthen skills that have been taught in class. Approximately 15-20 minutes of homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday.
Word Study Homework-
Please complete one menu item Monday-Wednesday. On Thursday please have your child take a practice spelling test writing their words in their agenda under the Weekly Words section. The students will have a weekly spelling test on their words.
Fluency Homework-
Please complete this for one minute each night. On Thursday please have your child reread the passage and answer the questions on the back. Please return the Fluency Packet on Fridays.
Math Flashcards-
Please have your child practice his/her math flashcards as often as they can. This will help ensure the mastery of their math facts and will help them when they complete their math fact tests on Fridays. Please keep an eye on their blue card in there agenda showing which math facts they have passed and which ones they need to practice.
Agenda-
The agenda is a great way to communicate between home and school so please check and sign your child's agenda nightly.
